Our Rumble Strip provides sensory enjoyment for wheelchair users and works particularly well when paired with our Wheelchair Bridge. It’s a simple way to introduce Inclusive Playground Equipment to your play area to help develop motor skills through tactile sensory play. The Rumble Strip is also a fun obstacle for Trackways, where children can use trikes and bikes to ride over the bumpy surface.
Rumble Strip Fun
As wheelchair users roll their wheels across the textured surface, they will feel the texture beneath them. This will lead to the user experiencing sensory stimulus, through vibration and sounds. An inclusive feature which will provide enjoyment to children of all abilities.
