2D/3D CAD Designer
Maple Leaf Designs Ltd is a playground design, manufacturing and installations company based in Cheshire that has been established for over 30 years. We currently have a full-time vacancy for a 2D/3D CAD Designer to work within our busy design team in our Crewe office.
Working within a small team you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in 2D CAD design (AutoCAD or similar) with the ability to create accurate 2D drawings from supplied drawings and measurements.
- Understanding of quantifying and costing designs.
- Computer literate (including Microsoft Office).
- Experience in a design role/environment and ability to work to tight deadlines and commercial standards.
- Great attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn new skills.
Bonus Skills:
- 3D modelling experience (3ds Max or similar) including comprehensive knowledge of rendering software (Arnold Render or similar).
- Unreal Engine experience.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience working in a playground or landscape design role.
- An understanding of playground safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Producing high quality playground designs using AutoCAD and 3Ds Max to meet the specification, budget and wishes of the client.
- Pricing designs and producing accurate and informative quotations to be sent to the client.
- Preparing presentations for clients to support proposed designs.
- Carry out site surveys and meetings where required.
- Dealing with customer enquiries, suppliers and liaising with our in-house installation teams.
- General administration duties.
Salary starting from £23,920-£28,600 depending on experience along with 28 days (5.6 weeks) holiday including bank holidays and pension contributions.
Free on-site parking available.
Full UK driving licence and own transport is required.

The working hours are 8am -4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Must live within a commutable distance to our Crewe office or planning to relocate.

Office Administrator & Marketing
Maple Leaf Designs Ltd is a leading manufacturer and installer of playground equipment. Trading since 1990 we design, manufacture and install children’s playground equipment for schools and nurseries throughout the UK.
We currently have a position available for a Office Administrator & Marketing based at our head office sited at Crewe Hall near Haslington, Cheshire. This role comprises of two main duties, general administration duties and marketing duties dealing with company literature, brochures and website management.
The role is part time (20 – 24 hours per week) and flexible, exact hours to be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
Skills and Experience Required:
· Excellent communication skills liaising with existing staff and Directors.
· Must be experienced and confident in dealing with and responding to customer requirements.
· Have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
· Have comprehensive knowledge of all elements of Microsoft Office.
· Have comprehensive knowledge of WordPress and Adobe Photoshop (or similar).
· Be able to co-ordinate and work to deadlines.
Main Responsibilities:
Administration
· Scheduling of works directly with customers and management of Directors schedules.
· Ordering materials and day to day management of site requirements.
· Processing orders and preparation of risk assessments.
· General administration duties.
Marketing
· Updating and management of the company website.
· Updating company brochures and promotional literature.
· Producing and organising mailshots.
· Updating and management of social media accounts.
Salary £12.00 per hour with paid holiday including bank holidays and pension contributions.
