Bench / Site Joiner (November 2019)
Maple Leaf Designs has a vacancy for a full-time Bench Joiner/Site Joiner position to join our expanding team based in Goostrey and Brereton, Cheshire. The successful candidate will join our friendly team on a full time contract and will receive a competitive starting salary from £24,000 – £28,500, with paid overtime, stopping-out allowance, paid travelling to and from sites, 28 days (5.6 weeks) holiday including bank holidays (per annum) and pension contributions.
We are a leading playground development company with a proven track record for over 29 years in delivering high quality & bespoke projects across the UK in schools, nurseries and parks.
We work on a vast variety of projects from brand new playground developments on both a small and large scale, refurbishments, repairs and surfacing.
The role would involve processing of raw material, mainly timber and plastics, assembly and construction of playground equipment in the workshop and on site with the installation teams, and management of stock.
Previous joinery experience is required and any experience working with playground equipment would be beneficial. A full UK driving license is essential. A CSCS card, CNC experience and forklift qualification would be a bonus however not essential.
Successful candidates would be required to pass a DBS check due to the nature of our work.

CAD Designer (November 2019)
Maple Leaf Designs Ltd is a playground design, manufacturing and installations company based in Cheshire that has been established for over 29 years. We currently have a full time vacancy for a CAD designer to work within our busy design team in our Sandbach office.
The working hours are 8am -4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Working within a small team you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in 2D CAD design (AutoCAD or similar) with the ability to create accurate 2D drawings from supplied drawings and measurements.
Understanding of quantifying and costing designs.
Good all round PC skills (including Microsoft Office).
Experience in a design role/environment and ability to work to tight deadlines and commercial standards.
Great attention to detail.
A willingness to learn new skills.
3D modelling experience (3D Studio Max or similar) including comprehensive knowledge of rendering software (Keyshot or similar).
Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
Experience working in a playground or landscape design role.
An understanding of playground safety standards.
Producing high quality playground designs to meet the specification, budget and wishes of the client.
Pricing designs and producing accurate and informative quotations to be sent to the client.
Preparing presentations for clients to support proposed designs.
Carry out site surveys and meetings where required.
Dealing with customer enquiries, suppliers and liaising with our in house installation teams.
General administration duties.
Salary starting from £20,000-£24,000 depending on experience along with 28 days (5.6 weeks) holiday including bank holidays and pension contributions.
Full UK driving licence and own transport is required.
