At West Park Primary School in Wolverhampton, the Maple Leaf Designs team transformed the EYFS Outdoor Play Area which now includes a variety of different zones and play opportunities.
Within the MLD Artificial Grass area, we installed a Mini Tunnel Mound, Net Tent with Climbing Blocks and an Up, Down and Balance Block Set.
We also laid an 18Lm x 1m wide Black Rubber Wetpour Trackway with Zebra Crossings.
Atop of Terracotta Bonded Rubber Safamulch Surfacing, we installed a Mini Sensory Tunnel and a Post Mounted Posting Panel.
The team also created a Water Play Area, consisting of an Interactive Water Wall atop of a Blue Rubber Wetpour Surface.
The Natural Play Area consisted of a Rustic Mud Kitchen, 2no Timber Planters with Insect Totem Hotels with Herb Planting, along with a Timber Digging Bed. This area also contains 21m2 Hardwood Woodchip and and natural Timber Edging.
Tarmac was selected as the surfacing option for the Main Play Area; here we installed a Play Theatre, Mini Sandpit with HDPE Lockable Rolling Lids, 2no Arts and Crafts Tables, a HDPE Chalkboard, Whiteboard and Paint Panel, along with a Ball Run Panel with Accessory Box.
